The exhaust system that is part of your vehicle is designed to move sound away from your engine so that the noise of your vehicle running is not overwhelming. If you didn't have this system you wouldn't be able to hear anything within the cabin of your vehicle. Because of the location of this exhaust (underneath your vehicle) you can often experience issues with your exhaust if you run over debris on the road or just from ongoing wear and tear. When some sort of damage occurs you will notice something is wrong such as:
- Louder than normal noises coming from the underside of your vehicle.
- Condensation or liquid coming from your exhaust pipes.
- Visible rust or damage to your exhaust pipe that sticks out of the back of your vehicle.
- Your muffler or exhaust pipe seems to be hanging lower than normal and you can see it from the back of your vehicle.
Visit our service center if you suspect a leaky exhaust.
